Co-creating housing for ‘later living’
For this second collaboration, Marsfields asked Versiti to help them understand housing and related needs in later life: what older people want and expect in relation to later living; how to design the physical and social environment and determine the provision of amenities and services; who the target audience is; and how to identify the target audience and communicate the proposition.
We conducted online ethnography with carefully-selected people from the areas adjacent to the project site.
The team of developers, architects and designers got clear and inspiring input to create a later living environment around the needs and aspirations of their target audience.
